🌿 CHAPTER 7 — The Paperwork Mountain

After the funeral, I expected grief.

I did not expect paperwork.

Forms.

Banks.

Insurance.

Pensions.

Probate.

Utilities.

Title documents.

Notifications.

Phone calls.

Letters.

Endless bureaucratic loops.

You do it all while grieving, exhausted, and disoriented.

This chapter exists for one reason:

to tell you that if you feel overwhelmed by the paperwork mountain, you are normal.

Take it step-by-step.

Ask for help.

Use checklists.

And allow yourself to take breaks.

No one is at their administrative best after losing the person they love.
